This real world mini math project with the theme Carnival Time, has students learning about time duration, money and budgets in an exciting way. This is great for assessment or group projects.

Students need to plan a day at the carnival with their friends; using the information provided on ride duration, wait time and costs. The bonus activity has them running one of the rides for the day and budgeting if they will make a profit or loss. Students will be engaged and enjoy using numeracy in a real life situation.
