This inquiry based learning math project works on budgeting and money, it has students planning a party with set costs and budgets. Students will pick a party theme, work out the money needed to purchase party and food goods, and find the total cost.
Students will be engaged and enjoy using numeracy in a real life situation. It has been designed for students in grades 3 to 6. Now suitable for home and digital learning with PDF and Google slides.
